FAQ

People often ask if I practice Yoga or have done Yoga to deal with work-related injuries, my numerous sports injuries, and chronic back pain. My answer is always a kind reply similar to this, “No, I have not done Yoga, nor will I ever get involved with any form of Yoga.” The people then ask, “But why not?” My reply generally goes like this, “Because I know way too much about the dangers of Yoga and its pantheistic, occult, evolutionary worldview. Also, I have read many personal testimonies from Eastern gurus and other people who have been ruined spiritually and physically through Yoga or who are currently suffering from Yoga’s devastating effects.”

Here are some simple questions and answers to help you quickly if you have similar questions and concerns about yoga.

1. Physical Problems with Yoga

Question:  Can the practice of Yoga and varying types of meditation and mindfulness lead to different types of physical injuries and lasting problems?

Answer:  Yes, they most certainly can! Unfortunately, in our age, the popularity of these practices seems to trump the documented issues that people are experiencing and suffering from. Material published on this website will help to show the reader just how dangerous yoga and meditation can be.

2. Spiritual Problems with Yoga

Question:  Can the practice of Yoga and varying types of meditation and mindfulness lead to different kinds of spiritual, psycho-spiritual, and psycho-physical problems?

Answer:  Yes, they most certainly can! There are many warnings about Yoga’s dangers in Yogic literature from Eastern religions, occultists, psychologists, Christian medical doctors, and New Age practitioners. The mass of information regarding dangerous spiritual, psycho-spiritual, and psycho-physical effects is sad to read. Many Eastern mystical/occult practitioners have warned about these dangers online and in their Yoga books, Yoga primers, Yoga magazines, and Yoga periodicals. Furthermore, many personal testimonies from new and seasoned Yoga practitioners, as well as highly advanced Yoga practitioners, warn about an endless array of spiritual dangers associated with Yoga.

3. Do All Types of Yoga Have Consequences?

Question:  Can all types of Yoga harm the body, mind, and spirit?

Answer:  Yes, all types of Yoga can have detrimental and severe effects on the human mind/psyche, body, and spirit. The end goal of Yoga is occult-oriented Self-Realization. Whether or not one has been indoctrinated into this belief is beside the point. Most Western practitioners do not warn about the dangers of Yoga; however, when one travels East to yogic-immersed regions of the world, the spiritual fall-out can be seen everywhere. Furthermore, when reading occult Yogic literature, the truth about Yoga’s dangers is revealed, vastly expanded upon, and often warned about explicitly. When you read the personal testimonies of world-famous gurus, yogins (male), yoginis (female), Brahmin priests, etc., the facts are right there in their own words.

4. What About Christian Yoga?

Question: Is integrating Yoga into the Christian lifestyle a safe thing to do?

Answer: No, absolutely not! Integrating Yoga into the Christian lifestyle is a dangerous thing to do, and it can have devastating effects on one’s Christian faith. Many Christians assume that they can safely integrate Yoga into their Christian lifestyle. You will generally find this among people not well-versed in the Holy Bible scriptures. Others who have designed and led or are involved with “Christian Yoga” ministries have placed the Bible and its warnings and cautions as secondary to justify their unbiblical emotional involvement with any form of Yoga. There are so many problems with Christians trying to justify their participation in Yoga that entire books can now be purchased, biblically refuting this grave error.

5. But Yoga isn't a religion, why can't I be involved with it?

Question: Many people say Yoga isn’t a religion, so why can’t I be involved?

Answer: This answer is half-right and half-wrong, so it is not entirely true. Most people who do Yoga will tell you it is not a “religion” and that there is no Yoga religion. First, to be “religious” (devout, pious, devoted, committed) means that one is thoroughly devoted or committed to a belief or practice. Many people are dedicated wholly to their Yoga practice, and in doing so, it becomes virtually religious to them—they are committed to it—but not religious, considering it to be part of a world religion.

Second, Yoga in itself is an occult spiritual practice found in various world religions, occult groups, cults, and countless New Age mystical/occult beliefs. Yoga, by nature, is a mysterious magical/occult practice that pre-dates world religions and originated through human ingenuity and spiritual deception—to open up humans to the spirit world. Yoga was designed for engagement with the spirit world to obtain occult power and enlightenment—apart from the God of the Bible. To say or believe Yoga is not a spiritual practice at its core is to be ignorant of the basic facts about Yoga’s doctrine and the spirit beings that helped generate this practice for a rebellious humanity. Furthermore, as Yoga is the very heart of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, one could say that Yoga is religious and the core belief system that serves as a solid foundation that upholds three of the leading world religions on planet Earth.
